Pretty sure they are either confused or joking. The newest volume of Mars Chronicle is #9, the one that had a special release that came with a super tiny art book.

I think they were referring to the english version of the volume as it just came out recently. No special edition for english readers, but I bought special edition on digital version so I am happy I did not miss out.

Ah, we didn't get the artbook in France... Anyway, the last chapter in volume 9 is chapter 46, so we're no way near a volume 10! If we could at least get a new half-chapter that would be nice...

Well, so far we haven't gotten Mars Chronicle in Poland at all (though apparently at some point we will), and we never get bonus stuff. Though the latter part is, AFAIK, universal, and if one wants the bonuses, they have to either preorder the Japanese version or to try their luck on the aftermarket (and it's a total roulette - I'm still missing some Houseki no Kuni-related stuff as its aftermarket prices are horrendous... but, on the other hand, I got the Shibuya Incident box from Jujutsu Kaisen on a deep discount).

I am jazzed about 9. This is like the Ice Age arc where I kind of lost interest month to month and then all together, it is tip top.

9 does a GREAT JOB of showing us the big picture...Zonohedron is bad AND wants to destroy the Quantum AIs for humanity ( kind of good AND relevant to Alita's current path. Chez Den ). Grunthal is strong without purpose. I now think Desein is some combination of Panzer Kunst elder and Zonohedron.

I got #9 just last week because Amazon Brazil screw up and I had to order it from eBay. Where can I buy or download this special edition you are talking about? Thank you.

I got mine via bookwalker in a digital format and the special edition version is on this link afaik https://bookwalker.jp/def2040ea5-d081-4 ... f94df680c/ (it contains approximately 30 pages of art some admittedly are art already featured but there are new artwork)

This is my favourite e books store to go for books from japan as they even sell english translated works as well too.

From Gunnm Kasei Senki I bought only volumes 1, 2, 7, 8 and now 9. I skipped Muster's arc entirely since I hated it. I call this subversive reading. I'm inclined to think that #9 is the Gunnm's final volume. Kishiro isn't interested in drawing anymore, he's always making excuses. True the Afternoon magazine being canceled is beyond his control, however he could be publishing online like Shueisha and their Manga Plus, or at least he could be drawing at home for when the publication resumes. He clearly doesn't care about Gunnm's fans. Time to move on guys.
