IIRC 6 out of 8 planets in the solar system have a magnetic field around them, the Earth's magnetosphere extends 10,000 kilometers and protects us from the solar wind. Besides the Sun, Jupiter has the biggest & strongest magnetosphere in the solar system and extends from it's own orbit to almost Saturn's one. I think their Orbital Dynamo harness this magnetic field to produce energy.

TL Note: The Deckman's lines don't have typos, remember he speaks funny and took Viz translations in Vol. 3-4 as reference. T727 line about inexhaustible energy, I think as long as Jupiter rotates they'll have energy. IIRC 6 out of 8 planets in the solar system have a magnetic field around them, the Earth's magnetosphere extends 10,000 kilometers and protects us from the solar wind. Besides the Sun, Jupiter has the biggest & strongest magnetosphere in the solar system and extends from it's own orbit to almost Saturn's one. I think their Orbital Dynamo harness this magnetic field to produce energy.

I don't know japanese or chinese but after see the chapter and all the reference to Buddha, mustn't be better translated 地藏 as Buddha stuff instead Earth Treasure?? My opinion.Zekka: (insert swear word)… what did you do to the promise of our master…and to my pledge?!?!
(searched for a while, and 地藏 seems to mean earth treasure, earth womb, bodhi,; Buddha stuff, so I will use “earth treasure” for now)
Zekka: becoming an Earth Treasure with a satisfied expression in the face

Akumeno. The problem with BAALO is that it`s really hard to translate. So the best way to get a satisfying release is that someone translates it, and after that one other guy that also knows Japanese takes a look at it.
And after that can people with knows English well take a look at it and spot spelling faults.
And still, their will be lots difference with the VIZ release

)Lol I started translating it because the previous translator dropped and there was a long period without any BAA LO scanlations. Adding to my frustration there were other two mangas from other groups that stopped scanlating or on hiatus. I still can't read and translate in real time as fast as a fluent speaker and still need to look at the dictionary pretty frequently. So, usually I prefer to read them scanlated instead of the japanese raw if I have the option.crazyankan wrote:

The other mangas I wanted to translate were Rosario+Vampire which other people/groups picked up again because the Anime started airing in January, and School of Water Business, but it was pretty hard because of all the slang and cultural references.
And so, I started translating BAA LO for myself and figured if I'm spending all this effort and time, why not write down the script so people can scanlate it. There might be some mistakes or stuff I can't get the right idea, but it's better than nothing.
