Enjoyable, I want to see more of Grunthal and excited for next chapter as there is a lot of dialogue and seems intriguing given the next chapter 54 is called catacombs.

Now we are talking! The story is going where it was supposed to go finally... can I hope the next chapter isn't scheduled for december?!

Now there's something worth to comment. Decades ago, at the beginning of the story, Yukito's idea of one becoming a cyborg was simply to throw an human brain inside a container and then fitting it to a robot body, mad scientist style. Today, in the light of new discoveries in the real world, our frail flesh and blood (and bone and bacteria) have a great deal to shape our persona, our sense of self. We are a biome of trillions of bacteria and virus and they also contribute to the whole by releasing chemicals that will influence our minds. A person suddenly finding their body replaced by an artificial one would go mad and die very soon, I think. The more sophisticated bodies like the berserker, the imaginos and the ones donned by Sechs and Zekka, artificial organisms composed by nanomachines could be up to the challenge, however I think the process should occur gradually, giving time for the mind and everything else to adapt and accept the change. However I can't tell, realistically, how much of the organic body could be replaced. Also, if the transition could be done, a new persona, a new self would replace the original, simply because they aren't the same. For people wounded by war or accidents or heavily sick, where the process should be done in a hurry, they would pose an even greater challenge.

Big thanks to the Cheshire Cat and the fairies.
