To me it was pretty rare finding Alita's fanart. I'm excluding the ones made using the film as model, that isn't the Alita I want to see. All the other's I've found were, if not bad, highly imprecise regarding her body and face. Here is one of my first attempts using previous AI models.DarkStarBeacon wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 4:48 am There's so much BAD A.I. art out there that when some actual good art that stays on model comes along it's refreshing.
Honestly how many fake ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL 2 posters have we all seen and hated for how lazy and off plot and model they are?
My preferred arc was still the Tuned Agent (however that imbecile Figure Four is a big minus on it) It was not only Full battle crazed Alita, but it was also the first one I've read and made me fell in love with the manga, I just love her looks and personality. I even have learned by heart one of her greatest speeches: (Figure Four asks her) "Do you really like fighting that much? (And she answers) Yes!! I love being in battle! I love when my body stops being a bit machine and becomes part of me! It all becomes white, it's an incredible high!"DarkStarBeacon wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 6:58 am Very much so.
Most get a lot wrong
Things like build, eye color, the shape of her streaks.
One of the things often missed besides the fact that Alita has brown eyes, is the fact that she's like had seven to nine different bodies not counting her child bodies. Krieger, Doll, Berzerker, Motorball, Civilian, TUNED, Imaginos ( 1, 2, & 3) Not including the ones from the deleted timeline, the Light Novel, the movie. Or if there were TWO different 'civilian' bodies post-motorball (It's hard to tell from the outfits she wears)
If the Neo-Banana engine works as well as you boast, I may have to switch to it from Famemonger(Perchance) for my own works. It would be nice to get closer to Kushiro's style.
That's a good way of rationalizing their relationship... But l only se him as "the good (dumb) guy" that is a very common hero stereotype in Japanese manga. Not so much today, but Kishiro have grown up reading that type of stories with such characters as protagonists. And Alita, let's be true here, is quite dumb. She is only a genius when fighting.DarkStarBeacon wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 6:00 pm I use to wonder why Alita fell for Figure in the first reading. But as I re-read it as I got older....
Figure reminded her that she was still a human being after ten years of being a weapon.
Alita loves Figure because he sees her, loves her, and is tough enough to stand beside her.
That's my view on it anyway
I love this second one. It depicts Alita in her full battle crazed mode, "seeing all white" (whatever the hell this means), showing her dextry with the damascus blade and eager for a big, and fat kill. I'll try to do a full body high res of it when I get the damascus blade right.

Yeah, I knew that one, I wasn't just remembering. I've taken another look at the artbook and I saw that in Tiphares/Zalem her suit(or body) seems to be purple or blue sometimes up to the point she goes to Ketheres/Jeru with Nova & co. I like those colors, I'll make use of them in some alternative variants.DarkStarBeacon wrote: Tue Dec 16, 2025 6:41 am Yo, this is that color variant I told you about.
You can tell it's her TUNED body by the hands, boots, and the jumpsuit zipper.
