Battle Angel Alita for PS3

Hello!

I'm finally an owner of a PS3.
Becouse of this i searched the Net for Games that will come in the future, and i found an announcement of a Battle Angel Alita Game, but i didn't found much more about this Game.
Have anyone heared more about the Game? Producer? Date of Releasing? Anything?

It could be possible, that this game is a movie game, and it will show up at the time the BAA movie can be seen in cinemas all over the world.

Last i heard, Cameron was planning on releasing an MMO alongside his 'next SciFi' movie. Probably not for the PS3, unless it's something like Phantasy Star or FF XI...

Its probably just the case of the http://www.ps3-spiele-portal.de pulling up the original PS Alita game out of some database.

Last i heard, Cameron was planning on releasing an MMO alongside his 'next SciFi' movie. Probably not for the PS3, unless it's something like Phantasy Star or FF XI...

I also remember some talk along these lines but it was all just rumors so far.

We can probably expect a Battle Angel video game for major game systems to come out with the movie as they do with almost every new movie today.
Will it be any good? Probably not.

What I am hoping for is that after the movie comes out, someone in Japan might pick up Last Order for anime+game treatment.
Now that would be a console buying game for me.

The Scrapyard would actually make a perfect setting for an MMO. Hunter-warriors + tons of npc's... A system to make semi-random new enemies instead of spawning the same bad guy all the time, specific targets, getting bounty on your own head, full pvp, character advancement through skills and body parts rather than a bland levelling system...

It might work.

I doubt that. Gunnm is not so popular. For example Gunnm - Martian Memory was never released outside Japan.

Dans un montage vidéo émaillant le speech GDC de J Allard sur la prochaine génération de Xbox, Cameron s'est d'abord enthousiasmé des possibilités immenses offertes par la technologie de la prochaine génération de machines, avant de préciser que son prochain film et le jeu vidéo qui en sera tiré reposeront sur un principe de scénario et de personnages entremêlés, sur le modèle d'Enter the Matrix.
