i do some Bujinkan Ninpo Taijutsu from time to time... and no, there are no competitions for that art other than All-style Open... Mainly to keep the old traditions intact, which at the same time means that if you would actually use the techniques in a fight you'd end up hurting your opponent bad... for reference, the unarmed part is pretty much all gouken fighting...vilma21 wrote: anyone else actully fight ?
die Klinge - a blade.TL Note: The old translation as well as the kanji is Razor, but the furigana has it as Kuringe (クリンゲ), dunno if someone who knows german can make out something from it.
What tide is he talking about?Afro-Nova: The tide is turning... The effect of Alita's come-back is immesurable.
Wiki says that he's "Tzykrow der Rabe" (Tzykrow "the Crow")TL Note: Previous translation had his name as Raven Tsai. But the japanese raw has his name as "Tsaikurou", might be Tsai Crowe or Crow.
Mini Moni? Ridiculous!!crazyankan wrote:Alita could be a member in Mini Moni. All members are 1.5 m (4 ft 11 in) in height or shorter.

Really hopes that Ritual can get their hands on the scans this week.
So it's wave function that connects different events in different times? It's just pretty hard for me to understand the proper way to translate it into my own lang. Thanks anyway.HumanRage wrote:"tide" reffers to the tide of events ... the flow of fate, how the tables are turning right now, while they thought they won and in fact, alita's team managed to reverse the steam

Well, for once I think Viz actually succeded in a somewhat acceptable translation. Since the kanji is "Razor" and the furigana sugests "Klinge" they put together a combo: "Razierklinge" (razorblade). This also jibes pretty well with Yoko's/Aita's preference for elbow blades, instead of translating the kanji straight off...hepar wrote:die Klinge - a blade.TL Note: The old translation as well as the kanji is Razor, but the furigana has it as Kuringe (クリンゲ), dunno if someone who knows german can make out something from it.
Super Nova seems more appropriate, because of the pun on supernova... Seems like something the character would do.I can't read Japanese, but i think you'll find the same thing in the original text.Sergio wrote:Comments on translation:

page 08/09 - Tsai Crow or Tsai Crowe? You must decide.
We already have have 292 pages in volume 11?
Or have we already entered volume 12?
By the way, should we name this version of Nova as Super Nova or Afro Nova? That point is also persisting.
