This series is turning out so different from what I thought it'd end up being like... and I thought the vampire saga was odd.

Theory time:
Venus wins against Zekka/Toji, with BioZekka and such,
SuperNova creates BioGally enhanced by Venus' genetic yatta,
Space Angels have to fight Venus' BioGally/Zekka?

Chances are that won't happen, GLO has been throwing so many curve balls at me lately.

What tide is he talking about?

TL Note: Previous translation had his name as Raven Tsai. But the japanese raw has his name as "Tsaikurou", might be Tsai Crowe or Crow.

Wiki says that he's "Tzykrow der Rabe" (Tzykrow "the Crow")
Tzykrow is a direct reference to the character Zycrow seen in Yukito Kishiro's previous manga series Aqua Knight, both in name and appearance.

So it's wave function that connects different events in different times? It's just pretty hard for me to understand the proper way to translate it into my own lang. Thanks anyway.

Well, for once I think Viz actually succeded in a somewhat acceptable translation. Since the kanji is "Razor" and the furigana sugests "Klinge" they put together a combo: "Razierklinge" (razorblade). This also jibes pretty well with Yoko's/Aita's preference for elbow blades, instead of translating the kanji straight off...

EDIT: The callsigns from the "Mauser kampf gruppe", "Tsykrow der Rabe" and "Yoko von die Razierklinge", also jibes pretty well with the overall german themed Panzer Kunst...

Super Nova seems more appropriate, because of the pun on supernova... Seems like something the character would do.I can't read Japanese, but i think you'll find the same thing in the original text.

it's more like, you know when sometimes all seems to happen according to your plan, everything is good, and then, everything is going unpredictable, things are not what they should be, you are no longer in lead of the situation anymore ?

that change is called "a turn of tide", it's an idiomatic expression, that can only be translated with the matching expression in another language (should that translation very far from a word-by-word translation)

Are you german? Cause you translated Klinge- Razor... The best german expression for that might be "Das Blatt hat sich gewendet" (= "the page has turned around"). We could also say "Das Schicksalsrad dreht sich weiter" or something (="The wheel of fortune turns"), but i think the "Blatt"- thing is better. Like HumanRage said, first Alita was torn into pieces, now she comes back better than ever, ripping Mbadis fingers off.
Anyway, its very far away from "turn the tide"...

Good suggest. There is a saying in german "rasiermesserscharf" ("sharp like a razorblade"), so the razorblade- tl would fit to the meaning of her cognomen. Just a little note: its "Rasierklinge", with /s/ and its "Yoko von DER Rasierklinge", although just "Yoko die Rasierklinge" would sound better, similar to just "Tsycrow der Rabe". Enough german for today
