I do not know if anyone has already mentioned here, but Kate Beckinsale's character in Underworld is just a quotation of our number one cyborg.

What do you guys think?

Watched this movie several times, had the same thoughts.

However, face does not match at all... body constitution is different...
Also, she is tall...

BTW... have you noticed that when you are watching any movie you are subconsciously comparing actors' faces with... you know who... =///

She is! And I have never mentioned that sort of similarity.
The fact is that the way she moves and jumps shotting her pistols sends me to Alita/Gally. The clothes also do that.

1. She is different in many aspects. A quotation is not a simple immitation, remember?
2. No, I am not used to such comparisons.

Actually, I did not like the film. It is too stupid!!

The point is not in comparing fictional characters, it is in comparing real actors, who could POSSIBLY play Alita.

The fact is that the way she moves and jumps shotting her pistols sends me to Alita/Gally. The clothes also do that.

When I watched this movie, i had only associations about appearance of actor, not about WHAT she acts.

When I watch any movie, and see someone looking similar, I start thinking "if she wouldn't be CG in upcoming movie (good it IS GG), this actor maybe will be able to play Alita... but, face is not similar enough... and so on".

Maybe I'm not right...

Face is completely different, I think Underworld actor has about 40% total similarity, and this photo is about 30%.

There are only two people to the moment that I've seen which have about 60% FACIAL match are Dany Verissimo (13th District - Lola) and Anna Gurji.

Fishburne's actually the only actor I can think of right now that would make a great Trinidad. Forget if he reminds you of another character. His job is to become this character and make you believe it.

Unless you're talking about Ed Harris who isn't right for the part, although James Cameron has worked with him before.
