Correcting my last post, Cailon had said that Erica lacked one hand, not one foot. And he is right. I apologize for this confusion. The other points remain: she can't be considered a cyborg having one mechanical hand and one artificial eye. Anyway, it is not explained how she became cybernetic as we see in volume two.

They could've made her cyborg, saying that she have to become stronger from now on to master Panzer Kunst.

The funny answer to this paradox wold be: human- Erica (eye and hand not mentioned, as Sergio said, this doesn't make one a cyborg) wanted to do some Panzer Kunst. Well, on Mars, Panzer Kunst does YOU. Her little human body couldn't handle the impacts of power, was heavily damaged and she needed some implants. :D
Or they gave her the implants beforhand, knowing the destructive power.

about the neck: I think the kids are a bit older on page 76. So Erica maybe was already "tuned".
anyway: good find, I haven't discovered this little detail before! Its cool to always find some new little aspects in the manga.

Good point, but we must remember that is simple speculation.

Interesting point, about they being a little older. I just hope Kishiro will explain those points.

I have some questions, too.

1. GLO v01, ch05: The first pages look like they were colored originally, but scanned b/w, or maybe were even layouted b/w. Are they colored or am I wrong? If I'm right, is there any chance in getting these colored?

2. The girl who is with Ido after his resurrection. She fought pretty well against Alita. Is she an old GR- series model (cause she did look a bit like Alita) or was Alita just holding back?
In GLO vol01, ch05 Nova said that Sechs killed 7 GR's. Plus one killed on Heng, one killed by Alita, one is Sechs itself, Elf and Zwölf are two, that makes 12 in total, but who says that Sechs didn't kill Idos companion as well? I dont know. Maybe too much asking around.

pretty sure the original japanese pages were in colour there.

GR? Doesn't make any sense at all. Gally was probably holding back, since she goes "It's gonna be serious" and everything. And note that the girl is an former Nova assistant. Even is she didn't have some nanomachine upgrade, she's probably still very strong.

Doesn't make sense, either. Zechs wanted challenge more than anything. She could kill the assistant, maybe, but Ido? He erased his memory, and probably don't fight anymore. Plus he's a far to important character to be killed "offscreen" like that. no, I definitly don't think this is possible.

No, I didn't want to say that Sechs killed Ido off-screen. I too don't believe that.

About the girl: Ok, no former GR. Was a former assistant of Nova, hm? I've overread that. And there she is, still having all her body-parts including her brain? Nova sure got lazy lately :D

About the color pages: the first pages, first GLO volume, were colored too (they are, in my german issue [unlike those I mentioned above]), so the b/w there was Viz' fault again?
