Hehe, I like my ß

It was developed from doube- s, with the first s shaped like a ſ (like in the old gothic-type- fonts). The "ſs" some day merged to ß. The rules for its usage are much easier than others of our weird rules ^^
Language sure needs some controls, otherwise noone would understand the other one. But as its a spoken language, it will and has to evolve and change, to compensate the also changing times. No englishman speaks like Shakespeare anymore or even like the language in the Beowulf.
You could say, there is no language, there are only speakers. I too dont like the rubbish talk in todays virtual world, though.
@GLO: Well the ZOTT is a long one, okay, but it sure will end and after that Mars is waiting for us. Im hoping for some very interesting things to happen there.
