Actually, Alita's name is really an absurd invention of American translators, and so is Hugo's. About Figure Four, I do not know what to say, but:
1. Sechs is correct. You should remember that the thunds have their names in German cardinals.
2. Lou is the correct spelling, simply. It is an English name and Ruw does not exist in English.
3. Kaos is perfectly correct as well. It is a reference to Roger Water's Radio K.A.O.S.
Remember that the katakana writing system is imperfect , and thus they cannot represent all the sounds of European languages.
The same happened recently in Death Note. The character Light Ikegami is sometimes mistransliterated as Raito Ikegami. Again, the problem is the limitation of Japanese writing.
(And, no, I have never accepted liberties in translation. I have always said that interfering in the author's creation, as creating names like Tiphares, Ketheres and others are sort of criminal activities.)

I made a script based on chinese translation and be warned that it is based purely on the chinese translation
I do know a little tiny bit of japanese, but I can't find the raw ch80 scans, i don't have anything to base the translation on, so, as a warning, again, the script can be very inaccurate.
so if anyone is nice enough to provide the scans, i can probably make some revision, and please do revise my grammar, because there are places i just translate (from chinese) literally and it may sound weird.
