Btw, he still is a huge fan as I see... o_0
Doesn't look like Cameron has given up. Sadly we have to wait for 2011 to see his version of Alita.

Wait a second!
If he is that much of a fan of BAA, he may be trying to keep up with LO too, and if he is not a fluent japanesse reader, then there is a chance that he (or any of his personel) may have somehow reached this site to get the latest issues; because there is really no other place where to get the latest LO in english, at least without using p to p hehehe.
The Cameron might be around here

Marvelous idea! Thus he has already learned the general opinion Gunnm's readers have about his work.the_maxx wrote:Wait a second!

Actually, I do not believe he is so naïve to think people with some lucidity would appreciate that sort of cinema.
There is always the hope that God will listen to Int 29Ah and make Cameron give up.
As it's said in russia, "Don't flatter yourself, come closer to the urinal." =)))The Cameron might be around here
Anyway, the truth is out there. If he reads this forum, he should take in account everything discussed in it. Seriously.
By the way... back to the previous issue.
Pic on his T-shirt was from OVA, not original manga. So... =///
This means that the story will be taken from OVA (which is already adopted [very shitly])... so it is less work to do (only to fix adoption [which can be fixed only by re-writing it]).
If this happens, we we'll have a great, historical, shit. =((( I don't want it.

Let's be rational. A T-shirt is just a T-shirt, nothing else.Int 29Ah wrote: Pic on his T-shirt was from OVA, not original manga. So... =///

It cannot mean anything.
And if he reads this forum, he is certainly laughing a lot, even thinking something like: I have the power to do anything I want. You guys can complain a lot, but you'll all end up paying to see the result.
The fact is: he is right.
Right... Like he let others take over Terminator.Sergio wrote: There is always the hope that God will listen to Int 29Ah and make Cameron give up.
So we got Mostow's Rise of the Machines, and now its taken over by a... something... that makes music videos and movies like Charlie's Angels and calls itself McG.
I find it highly unlikely.

People of such... caliber... have means to hire personal translators for such projects. They also have personal assistants that find and fetch things for them.
On the other hand - they have very little free time.
So it is very unlikely that Cameron might be here. Or even his assistant.
Why wait for months when you can pay someone to have it delivered, translated and printed with your breakfast the same morning it comes out in Japan?
Along with the statistics of the "internet buzz" about the movie and "fan talk".
But look around you ...
Death and Light are everywhere, always, and they begin, end, strive,
attend, into and upon the Dream of the Nameless that is the world,
burning words within Samsara, perhaps to create a thing of beauty.

Then he should have an assistant who reads him gunnm before he goes to sleep. =)))People of such... caliber... have means to hire personal translators for such projects. They also have personal assistants that find and fetch things for them.

I do not know if Cameron has anyone checking this forum, but one thing is certain: Kishiro does.
Every artist is curious about what his fans thing about his work, and a community like this is a sort of élite. It does not mean he will change a single line of his work, even because his work has been respected without any influence of readers, but even great artists are interested in feedback.
