No hentai this time either. :(

... but apart from that I dig the chapter. Loved how some of the veterans from BAA showed up again, especially Ajakutty and Armblessed.

Yay great prelude chapter.

As D-scape allready said it's great to see the characters from Gally's past again (Gally Gally's not Yoko Gally).

Funny how Kaos and the others are trying to put up support for Gally only to have the bet's being slightly more in favor of the Space Karates.

I could be wrong but it seems Pam is wondering if she will have to wear a karate gi all the time if Touji's team wins.

I also love how Sechs can actualy pose two times at once with her puppet body.

... but what happend to Elf and Zwölf?

Master Kishiro!!! Do not disappoint us! May this final be gloriously chaotic.

Oh and in case anyone noticed, we have a fight between the two sexes :D . Take your side.

ps: One word may describe what happened to Elf and Zwolf: RAPED, really hard!!

This is one of the few series out there that can actually give me the shivers. To be honest, I haven't felt this excited about anything in quite a long time. Two thumbs up!

IMHO Sechs is male.

Zekka (and Toji) must have quite the reputation! I thought the space colonization wasn't common knowledge.
Can't believe their bets favor Karate. Alita defeated Zapan!

Gally is female and act as a female. Since Elf, Zwolf and Sechs are derived from Gally when she was a tuned, we can technically say that Sechs is female. However, he pretty much see himself as something ressembling the image of the male warrior who goes to war leaving the women behind (by getting rid of his 'boobs' and the 'solenoid clench in his pants' he got when getting his upgraded polytin body), so yes we can say that sechs is male in a certain sense as this is how he seems to view himself.

Other than that, if Kishiro-sama put the passion of the Guntroll fight, the intensity of the Kaeluha fight, and the technological blast of the Jupiter team fight, we will have something truly grandiose.

Anyone care to speculate as to how/why the ZOTT is being shown in the scrapyard?

I think the only reason is that Kaos is leading the movement of reconciliation between Zalem and Kuzutetsu, he may have some connexions with his father or people living on Zalem, like Pam of her mother. I think he just wants to show the implication of an old Motorball star, that can improve the interest to the scrapyard's people in this cause, being independent.

plain and simple : Gally is known in the scrapyard since her motorball adventures, and she is now fighting for the sake of the scrapyard. Zalem is under Pam/NovaX control, so they can broadcast whatever they want, this way the ladder's misbehaving will be known of all

edit : i said that while the chapter was downloading, and after seeing it, this is definitely that. and by the way, so many old faces at the Bar, gorgeous !

To put japanese in google translation you first need a website where you can find kanji, for hiragana or katakana, MS word do that great! and the just paste it in google! That's it
But, you know, the translation is really approximative!

well actually.. she was merely saying "Yoko...." though I do understand how google might've told you it was "good perspectives".

As for what Caerula "said", it's a katakana "fu" which is basically a short laugh.. so "heh" or something along those lines would work.

and... before anyone asks I can't help translate the chapter haha.. I have very poor Japanese... can only read but not understand.

EDIT: and also thanks for the link! :D

To sum up my experience reading this chapter:

- Holy shit, Koyomi! <3

- Holy shit, we're in the old world again!

- Holy shit, they're actually changing the scrapyard!

- HOLY SHIT, the motorball vets are still alive and hanging out in the bar!

- HOLY SHIT! they're broadcasting the ZOTT down there!

- FUCK YES! YOU ARE THE GREATEST SERIES EVER!

This is the greatest amount of fanservice I ever saw, and it didn't even feature a pantyshot. (ok there's some Koyomi bondage but still...)
Awesome.
I just hope Elf and Zwolf are OK. Probably raped, but OK.

We have a problem in this phase, page 15.
As everyone is aware, the thunds have their name in German ordinals.
As everyone is aware, the thunds still present in the story are Elf (eleven), Zwölf (twelve) and Sechs (six). Thus, why on Earth is that written Xechs here?
I had already notice that Kishiro's translator has an English as good as my Korean, and he had already mistransliterated this character's name (http://jajatom.moo.jp/album_e/gallery.c ... view&no=10).
I just hope that this will be correct in the tamkohon, or a certain Chilean will call me a liar. Actually, even Zazie became Xazie here.

P.S. I do not speak a single word of Korean.

Considering that each one of them is as powerful as Alita (they are thunds, for God's sake!!) and considering that they are two, such an atrocity would not make sense. Or is Rakan more powerful than two thunds together?

Besides, although I know they are pains in the ass, I love those graceful pains in the ass, so I just hope Kishiro did not have such a stupid idea. Even because he has already transformed my beloved Erica in a Nazi agent working for Neo-Third Reich Division (at least, it seemed that to me).

Sergio, why do you think Yukito has mistranslated the name of Sechs?
Maybe, to be independant with Elf and Zwolf and to confirm "his" personality, he prefers being called Xechs rather than the number 6, you know, as the prisoner ;)

Anion aseo (phonetically speaking, means "hello"), now you know words in Korean!
