You receive the status "Legend" after 150 posts and "Deckman" after 500 posts.
Maybe I should fix a new status for over 1000 posts, because Sergio is almost there.

Re: Top posters
Let me suggest the status: Künstler.
The next one could be Ladder.

The next one could be Ladder.

Re: Top posters
What if you make them like this:
250+ = Legend
500+ = Epic
1000+ = Father
2000+ = Elder
GUNNM-oriented statuses don't give any rank/experience information. When I've seen Sergio's status "Deckman", I didn't even have an idea what it means.

Re: Top posters
Whatever! Statuses like father and elder sound to me as a sort of religious hierarchy. I do prefer them BAA oriented. Hey, man! The theme here is exactly that!Int 29Ah wrote:What if you make them like this:

Re: Top posters
Ok, forget about "Father" and "Elder".
I've just taken a word "father" from the slang, widely used in the working context (independently of the occupation).
When somebody is outstandingly good at something, people usually say something like "He's THE FATHER!". Also, this means that the person's opinion is the undiscussable truth of the last instance.
We can have something like this also:
250+ = Legend
500+ = Epic
1000+ = Honorary [ Flooder
, member, poster]

Re: Top posters
I find it silly having it BAA oriented, because it's not obvious. Statuses have to be obvious.
What do you think about this:
250+ = Big fan
500+ = Huge fan
1000+ = Epic fan

Re: Top posters
I disagree from all points of view. Of course IT IS obvious. If BAA-oriented statuses in a BAA-oriented community do not sound obvious, the habitués shall be catalogued as retarded.Int 29Ah wrote:I find it silly having it BAA oriented, because it's not obvious. Statuses have to be obvious.
Re: Top posters
Arrgh! I've meant not the _FACT_ of having them isn't obvious. I've meant that the HIERARCHY is not obvious with these statuses, even in the BAA-oriented community.Sergio wrote:I disagree from all points of view. Of course IT IS obvious. PS.
By "not obvious" I've meant that you have to THINK about it first.

Your next post will be an anniversary one, so you'll be officially promoted to a "Honorary flooder" rank.

This is my anniversary post also, it's 400.

As I said, it is obvious in such a community that Künstler is higher than deckman, as well it is obvious, for example, that Ladder is higher that Künstler. Don't you think so?
Re: Top posters
No, I don't think so. I'll explain it:
Deckman < Kunstler - obvious
Kunstler < Ladder - not obvious, these are two completely different entities: the first is a person, the second is an organization.
To compare something, it should be at least the same kind. These things should be the same in quantity, but different in the quality (level).
The comparison you're offering is completely illogical and a good subject for an old proverb: "Don't compare the ass and the finger" or "You're comparing the warm and the soft".

Anyway, I have already found your rank: Barjack soldier. You do have a cause; you simply don't know which one.
By the way: I couldn't understand the old proverb you mentioned. Are you used to compare your ass and your finger?
Re: Top posters

Its funny to see you debating over this with so much passion! Battle time again!!!

Uhm, 3000 could be Trinidad, but maybe no one will ever reach it!
Re: Top posters
It's an old Russian proverb, which is used when something uncomparable is compared.
"Don't teach your father how to fuck", "Don't compare the penis and the finger", "I'm not made with a finger!", and it's derivative "Don't compare the ass and the finger". These three are very widely used everywhere in the society.
Also, there are several frequent derivatives: "You can't scare a women with a huge penis" and "Are you trying to scare the hedgehog with your naked ass?".
I beleive, the proverb "You're comparing the warm and the soft" has something to do with the childish joke "Once two crocodiles were flying - one of them was red, another one was heading south."
PS.
Hepar can confirm everything I've just stated.

PSPS.
I won't debate further, I just don't want to. The last time I've seriously debated with Sergio, I've had insomnia for about a week!

Why not? The fact that he was once able to reproduce does not nean that he is a great fucker, believe me!Int 29Ah wrote: "Don't teach your father how to fuck"

It is jus a question of interpretation, as it is necessary to get hold of the penis (using the fingers) in order to make a baby, I think. At least, it is much easier.Int 29Ah wrote:"I'm not made with a finger!"

It depends on how huge such a penis is.Int 29Ah wrote:"You can't scare a women with a huge penis"

I have to agree. That would be extreme stupidity.Int 29Ah wrote:"Are you trying to scare the hedgehog with your naked ass?".

That makes me remember a Brazilian saying: the only way of placing four elephants into a Mini is sitting two in the front seats and two in the back seats.Int 29Ah wrote:"Once two crocodiles were flying - one of them was red, another one was heading south."

Thus I won that debate, although I thought I had lost. I could not sleep for three nights.Int 29Ah wrote:The last time I've seriously debated with Sergio, I've had insomnia for about a week!

It does not matter. The debating process is the most interesting part, not the outcome.Sergio wrote:Thus I won that debate, although I thought I had lost. I could not sleep for three nights.Int 29Ah wrote:The last time I've seriously debated with Sergio, I've had insomnia for about a week!

Int 29Ah: feels more logical to have the ranks gunnm oriented.
But I should maybe lower how many posts you must have done to improve a rank.

Re: Top posters
I don't demand you to change the ranks globally, you've adjusted them already. Relax.
I'm asking you to give me a custom rank "Legend", just because I've got used to it and I don't like rapid changes! Make me a favor, please!
