Here's the Description for this volume;

That's a really bad description!!! I had to read it a few times for it to make sense! Though maybe I'm not reading it close enough. I was also interested as to why they didn't say "Space Angels and Karatekas prepare for the ZOTT Finals!!!" Or something more exciting. And this isn't the best volume to say "Mbadi and ALita face off, WHO WINS?!"

Still can't wait for this volume . . . . next year =(

This is a Canadian site, but it says when Viz will pop out the next installment in English after vol. 13. It'll be another 7 months.

Why can't Viz get their dang BAALO's out faster? I'm glad it's coming, and now I know when, but yeesh! I thought December 2010 at the latest. It used to be 6 months behind the Japanese releases.

I don't know what the title will be yet, but to wait another 10 months for Alita to be in the volume, with text again, really kills me!

If it wasn't for you guys I would go insane waiting for a volume. Plus like most of us I buy the books even after reading the scans.

That's a really bad description!!! I had to read it a few times for it to make sense! Though maybe I'm not reading it close enough. To me it is clear that the summary is written for people who are holding a Last Order Volume in their hands for the first time in their life. No one familiar with the manga would use the term "bizarre life forms" to describe the contestants for the ZOTT finals.

If they had use terms like "Space Angels and Karatekas prepare for the ZOTT Finals" I believe it would have been too obscure for the novice. I suppose they think it's a better choice to try and attract new readers rather than appeal to the regular readers/buyers.

I just noticed on the Amazon.com order screen for this volume, it says "Newest Printing". It's not on any of the other volume's descriptions. It's right under the manga title on the order page.

What does this mean?! With the Library bound editions, they changed the format to be a bit wider on ONE volume, it had better not be something like that! I hope they don't shrink it or use lesser quality to publish it, seriously!

Does anyone knows what this means? "Newest Printing". I guess we'll either have to wait until the images of the cover and details start to surface or until Jan of 11'.

EDIT: Just checked some of VIz's other mangas; Naruto 49, which is published around the same time as BAALO 14, does NOT have the "Newest Printing" label, nor does the newest One Piece. But Bleach 33, published a month before LO 14 (in English), has the mark. I just hope the quality goes up for Viz's manga, not down!!!
