GLO 100 Specials

Post by kamugin »

Here are the news in Comic Natalie about the Ultra Jump issue that will bring the 100th chapter of GLO (all in Japanese unfortunately):
http://natalie.mu/comic/news/33542

To celebrate the 100th chapter some exclusive T-shirts will be released too. In the link below there is also the cover of Japanese vol. 15:

Damn! I want at least one! >_<
Meanwhile I'll just order this special edition of Ultra Jump.

I really appreciate the links. Oh I'd so go for the black Den (wont be able to order one though.) Gally-silhouette is also nice but you can't really wear this in public. The Jashugan motif and those "things" aren't my cup of tea...

@UJ cover again: http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/8568/hoho001.jpg
Since it wasn't much commented over there, I LIKE IT. When was the last time we saw her smile from her heart (not her arrogant cat-grin). Also the arrangement is well done and I'M looking forward to see the picture at yukitopia without text.
I also like YKs slightly new style. He experimented with crayon before and here we see the perfect combination imo. The lines are softer, not so ultra clean anymore, yet everything is still in place. The hair has great reflexes, showing how well crayon and CGI can work together.

bigger covers there, too:

Thanks for the links. While I like the silhouette shirt the rest are kind of disappointing. I'm disppointed at the spartan nature of the pictures and I'm disappointed there's no elf, desty, zwolf or sechs.

Considering how nice the old gunnm/baa shirts are, these could have been alot better.

Indeed, the choices are very bad =(

That Motorball shirt is BEYOND FUCKING AWESOME. I must have it. But how the fuck would I go about that, considering I live in Norway?

The solution will be checking ebay.
Right now they have only Alita and Desty Nova old versions, but I believe the new ones will be soon available.

I don't see the point in such kind of clothes.

Yes, owning it is cool, but... you will never wear it! You will just OWN it.

Knowing that it's a collectionary stuff in a limited edition, you will fear putting it on because you can tear it, you can make it dirty, put splashes/stains on it, it will discolour over time.

Buying a toy to put on the bookshelf is understandable, but buying clothes like this isn't. What for? No one wears collectionary stuff anyway.

If I got one of these I would wear it. I have some anime printed T-shirts, just one is an original licensed item, but i wear it too. To me a shirt is just a shirt, unworthy of being stored and preserved with care, like a manga issue or an anime figurine. But I suppose there are people capable of purchasing a T-shirt just to collect and never wearing it.

The Jashugan shirt is cool as fuck and I'd wear it. Black shirts age really well too.

I would wear it, of course (in case I bought it, obviously). When it's over… it's over.
