But that in the end is up to Yukito Kishiro, so far hes chosen not to show Alita having sex or any other charakter for that matter. Altho some came pretty close, if we remeber the almost rape scene with Shumira(Ido saves her). There was a nude shower Picture of Shumira too btw.

That doesnt explain however if Alita is capable of sex or not. That question has to be answered with in the parameters of the world created around her. And we can objectivly speculate on that even if its not shown. So:
-Her first pleasuregirl body Ido gave her probably could have Sex cause it was made for that.
-Her second the berserker body probably not since it was a soldiers body and quite crude and robot like.
-Her 3rd the Motorball body probably not as it was made for sport and also not for permanent use.
-Her 4th the AR-Series body i dout it. Because they would probably not spend money on that. Machienes are build for purpose not for comfort.
-Her 5th the Imaginos body, was shapeable by her will, so i would say she could if she wanted to. Thurthermore it was made by Nova, who had an eye for the detail and for planing for the future. So i would suggest that he might have though, it could be positive for his karmic experiment. Also he made her body quite close to human, with a brain, zells, nerves, muscles...
-Her 6th and current body, is made like the Imaginos body, but shaped by Alitas will. Well since she stated that shes human despite having a brain chip. She might not care how her body looked like, just that it has arms and legs to fight with. But on the other hand she might just have instinctivly chosen her form to appear as her human body. And since shes definetly a female, that would include female reproductive organse. Cause why should she explicidly exclude them? In the end she can alsways form her body as she wants it.

To that end i dout that any of her cyborg bodys could actualy bear children. Altho i would put it into Novas sick mind, of giving her that ability, just to see his karmic experiment conclude in multible little Alitas running around.

That is my personal objective opinion, based on what i remember and percived of the characters, the story and the world of GUNNM. Without judgeing about the place sexuality has in GUNNM. I think that that each of us has to deside them selfs if they like or dont like it to be in GUNNM. And for Yukito to deside if it is.

Earlier I forgot to consider the multiple bodies she had along the saga. I think I agree with you in everything. But let me add something more: Alita is a very unique being, but she have an human self, with human needs*, so she may experience sex if she wants to.

*One thing is undisputable: she needs love - Ido (as a father), Hugo and Figure - and which is the greatest expression of love between a couple?
