Kodansha announces re release of battle angel alita

Although we still won't get Mars Chronicles yet.

Kodansha has announced the first battle angel Alita to be re released in holiday 2017. Apparently there will be bonus content within each volume.

Not entirely surprising, given the upcoming film. Was at a comic store today and, of course, not a sign of Alita. My eldest would totally die for Alita merchandising. The best I can do for now is take her to Roller Derby...

Excellent! Even though I'm lucky enough to already have all 9 books (in English) as well as the 19 books from Last Order, this is still great news for newcomers. Hell, I might even double dip and get these new editions when they come out.
