Don't know if you have seen this release: .torrent (0-day comic bundle including v1-3) from Minutemen, usually they only release marvel comics.

I really like this version, it has great quality and colored pages (can't remember if the old volumes had those).
Please confirm - looks to be originating from the Kodansha digital release.

Interesting, although I think they should have translated the onomatopoeia. Anyway, it is good-quality material.
By the way, Minutemen distribute Image Comics as well.

Downloading Battle Angel Alita (v01-v09)(2017, New Translation Edition)(digital)(Minutemen-Excelsior) (magnet link). Looks very promising (can confirm volumes 1-3 as working). The seed count is low (2-3), but I will definitely keep seeding it for a while (after i get 100% in about 2h).
