in doing a faithful adaptation I hope the production committee gets the nier/drakengard ost team involved especially emi evans I love kaine escape/salvation & wretched weaponry I think emi evans could do for alita what origa did for stand alone complex. I've been binging nier soundtracks but i can easily picture alita scenes using same emotional beats.

I can only imagine the anime getting a soundtrack that is synth/cyberpunk sounding.

Maybe something that sounds like to Perturbator or Carpenter Brut, maybe even Dance with the Dead.

Songs like Kaine are more like quiet moment in film in my view plus the fact most of song lyrics are emi's chaos language so it imitates whatever language yoko told her use as basis or words to put in lyrics.

O you ment synthwave/vaporware I don't really listen to that closest i have to synthwave would be metal gear soundtracks & i usually associate cyberpunk to war ghost in the shell & appleseed all talk of ww3&4 or the combat zone from cyberpunk 2020 or infinity the rpg which are cyberpunk spec ops.
