Those parts are actually the "light at the end of a tunnel" for me. I've just re-read the non-flashback chapters - and I really, really miss following that plot thread. I want to know what happened on Venus, too. And I want to see Sechs, Zekka, and so on. At least we got to see Caerula and Zazie a bit.

Just like berserk, NANA, detective conan (note haven't read it yet), REAL, Hajime no Ippo and hunter x hunter. These manga take even longer than battle angel atm

Wow thanks, it was certainly a spoiler for those who are reading Mars Chronicles faithfully but its ok to me because I do not understand Japanese, so I'll keep waiting for the english version.

By the way, kishiro is yet more concerned about the movie than Mars Chronicles (according to some interviews I saw of him on youtube) that I suppose he'll gonna take at least a month to draw again.
