although i get a general idea of whats going on.. im stumped on a couple of things.. wondering if any of you guys can clear it up.
1) Why did the frova go against the other novas?. i thought, well being essentially the same person that theyd work together.
2) whats earth nova's intent? he seems to look at the scrapyard in a sentimental sort of way.. is he gonna destroy scrapyard and tiphares or he going to go up ketheres himself eventually. perhaps to confront frova?
Things are heating up here. Phase 65 is probably the best chapter so far in Last Order, even reaching the heights of some of the better original Gunnm chapters.
I just got done translating it, figured I'd add a couple notes:
- Evidently, Alita's Imaginos body should have blocked around 80% of Frova's attack. The fact that she disintegrated is, as Frova explains it, her psyche (which was a mess) and body synchronizing.
- Her brain chip wouldn't respond to anything Landa Namnam and the others were doing...
- ...so Arthur used the Fata Morgana to remind her of why she's fighting. All the people who have entrusted their hopes and dreams to her. He makes some comment about how her life has caused lots of quantum vibrations across the universe.
- Nova X and Frova have irreconcilable differences in opinion on their karma research. When Frova looks at the Scrapyard, he muses that this may be the last time he sees that "lovable chaos."
- Last chapter, Porta-Nova made a comment about Frova's actions being out-of-whack with a real scientist's. The implication is that in getting another brain chip, Frova's personality changed (possibly was tweaked by Mbadi).
- Frova is working with Mbadi. They plan on invading the surface world and Tiphares in a couple days and killing all the inhabitants, in the Tiphares Redevelopment Plan.
- Before her little accident, Alita said she plans on winning ZOTT, making Tiphares/Earth its own commonwealth, thus putting a stop to their plans.
- The robots don't understand how the Imaginos body was put together, so when she gets a new body, it probably isn't going to be another Imaginos.

wow.. thanks a lot for that.
sure like the odds are against the alita team with mbadi and frova together,
