Hi guys,

My brain was kind of short circuited for the last month or so. It isn't fully operational, if it ever was, but it's usable. Coming back here I find three parts (can't call these proper chapters) released. I guess in total they amount to an actual average chapter. Well, some fast impressions: this Gyapollo guy is as lame as one can be. Makaku was orders of magnitude above him. He's a clear small fry, Alita would need a page at the most to totally crush him, but Kishiro had to convince gullible us that he's an actual "badass" by making him kill three poor kunstlers that had nothing related to what's going on in Dejah. As I told you before, a single kunstler, like Alita by herself only, was an ultimate badass. When another kunstler apeeared, like Tzicrow (forgive-me if I didn't get his name right. That was fucking so long ago and I'm in no condition to go that far back) and even a knockoff kunstler like Sechs, when they first appeared, they were plain badasses. Thus one kunstler is awesome, two going against each other are still awesome, but when you get three or more, they fall almost to stormtrooper level (SW stormtroopers, cuz the real original WWI stromtroopers were fucking badasses too) and are as easy to kill as flies (actually pesky flies are kind of hard to kill). So Gyapollo and Yakovleva showed their ugly faces only to get properly killed. Just to give us some action fanservice. Keun's quest is a reminiscent of Muster’s arc, Kishiro isn’t over that shit yet. The only point of interest to me is Yunie. I wonder what Kishiro has in store for her, since she's stealing Erica's and Yoko's spot and those two are the ones we want to see joining the kunstlers and we have no workings in that direction so far.

That's what I said last chapter, how the kunstler's death was like watching Padawan's getting slain and not jedis. If I wanted to see a villain slaughtering warriors I would have choosen general grevious vs 4 jedi knights(that was an awesome 2003 animated fight scene well directed niche star wars fans love it for a reason). But yep my thoughts are the same for gyapollo just lame (edit: just like the sea pirates in berserk a lot of fans did not like them as villains including me).

Keun being like Muster, I wouldn't say that tbh, he doesn't have the same hammiest muster has, it is more related to the overarching plot(at least i think so as it talks more about grunthal politics and how they whitewash some aspects of their history, which is quite realistic for a organisation that works behind the scenes). The only comparision you can make is how it gives off a subplot vibe, but the hammiest and cartoonish villainy vibe not so much which is was why I thought you hated muster he is too cartoonish of a villain(as colonel payne was another example of that hatred as you consider him too cartoonish I didn't mind colonel payne tbh he doesn't hog too much screen time imo anyway) for you which doesn't come off as a genuine person. Btw good to see you again

I agree I do like Unye but I am also interested in Keun as well because of how mysterious they are( I get lured by heroes with secretive backstory which is why I like skull knight)

I've missed that one. I didn't watch all of that cartoon spinoff because in the end it had no influence on the movies. But in the movies as well as in the cartoon, I did like Dooku's scenes, he was a convincing badass villain, though his death was lame, just how the movies liked to depict things.

Neither did I. Keun isn't like Muster in any way. I was talking about the "quest for some hidden secret". Kishiro isn't over this kind of subplot yet. He left so many untied threads in Muster's arch... Here we may have a resemblance between Kishiro and George Lucas, in the sense of how Lucas screwed up his own work... by the other hand, this arch probably won't be so bad as the previous one... I hope.

Probably those Gizmos are going to be the foes Kishiro chose to level the kunstlers, sigh...
