I thought I'd post this here because I'm ecstatic about it. The novels that my username comes from are being produced as a series on HBO next year. If you guys haven't read these books and are looking for a good "thinking man's fantasy", you should definitely check them out!

HBO, that means I'd have to download it when someone puts it up. And that depends on how many fans this'll have
But it sounds interesting. So when someone writes in the commentary: "picture Lord of the Rings, without orcs, but with political intrigue, betrayal, incest, and the good guys dying" ---> I can assume it's dark fantasy, for mature audience and no Legolas?^^ Sounds very promising!
