any leads on when 16 be released in usa

i havent been able to find anything about when vol 16 will be released in the usa and that makes me worry it porbly wont happen till 2013 sadly . hopesomeone knows when it will be realsed hear id like to owne the book as haveing a scan on the comp is not enough for me
wasent 16 released a while ago in japn we usly get it 6 months to 8 after japan gets theres? is ziv even printing baalo anymore iv been wayyyy out of the loop and just rered the whole sieres and would like to finish my collection one day

I hope you're not that out of the loop that you know that YK has been with Kodansha now since last March.

Viz is a Shueisha/Shogakukan imprint and vol. 16 was published by Kodansha. Even though they having been putting out BAA since the early '90s, I really doubt that Viz will be able to publish any LO from vol. 15 on and I can't imagine that the parent companies would negotiate with Kodansha to license from vol. 16 on back to them. Kodansha has already been republishing LO as the LO New Edition anyway so to me this indicates that all of LO now has shifted over to them. My guess is that if Kodansha does decide to continue with LO in English that they will release it under their Kodansha Comics USA label UNLESS the licensing agreement with Viz allows them to still publish LO even if the Japanese publisher changes. However looking at their website now (http://kodanshacomics.com/titles.html) and ANN's entry for LO (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclo ... hp?id=2615) there is nothing at all yet about an eventual English release so like the time of the hiatus going back to 2010 we will have to wait and enjoy the releases here in the meantime.

I suspect there is a copyright problem here. I have no idea about USA laws on copyright, but once Viz changed the title of the work and even of the main character, will the successor be authorized to use them or do they belong to Viz?

More eccentrically, maybe the new publishers will do the same that is made in Japan, that is, reprint Last order from the beginning, this time using the correct names.

just f&cking great so i can pretty much never complete my manga colection i am not HAPPY to just have files on a computer that just bs!!! great way to go stupid publishers go eat a bowl of donkey dick .. im sorry but im very unhappy about this,, maby is stupic mr camaron makes the move it will get enough popularity to get english prints of 16 and on,, i could realy give to sh$ts about the movei just make stupid american publishers pick up pay the price and prin tout my books!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im guessing the same will happen with claymore one day if so i guess ill give up on manga cause only crapola naruto and bleach get enlgish publishings every year

French edition is frozen too. kind of sucks. But i'd be happy if Glenat lose the right, because really their work on GLO is sub par. mirrore, no colour pages, wonky translation, missplaced texts, some missing pages. yeah, I can live without them.
