2014 World Cup

Post by AR-99 »

Many of the regulars are from outside the US, so I assume that you have been following the goings on in Brazil. I wonder how our two resident Brazilians are handling it all.

Myself, I am rooting for US, Germany, and Spain. Yes Spain got destroyed on Friday while Muller handled Portugal today. We'll see how the US deals with Ghana.

I hope The Netherlands Will win this time. It was always close but no cigar. I'm also rooting for Belgium. Too bad that Germany is through ;-)

I am cheering for Germany. Lots of great players and they are playing really entertaining.
But I think a team from south america will win, because of teams from south america have always won when they hold the tournament in south america. My favorite for winning the trophy is Brazil, because they have home turf.

The Suarez bite wasn't good for "my" team Liverpool. Another season will start without him :(

I doubt our 2 resident Brazilians will have much good to say about this World Cup. I am pleased as punch that Germany is in the finals and pulling for them to change history and Muller to repeat as Golden Boot winner. As much as I like Messi, I won't be rooting for him on Sunday.
