Just a side note but does anyone have the berserk prime 1 to compare/contrast with alita prime 1 as apparently berserk is getting 1/3 &1/4 scale line. So would the alita prime 1 be about 90-120 lbs like the berserk black swordsman prime 1 statue that was released last year?

the deckmen look like the body part of the smart tanks in gits to me I hope they keep the deckmen dialogue so they'll be funny at least.

I actually prefer the Weta figures over Prime1 as Prime1 has statues that they've announced years ago with no word on release date so the Alita Prime1 could be 3-5 years from actual retail.

I'd take that scale figure over funkopop anyday, but the poses are boring it needs to show the cybornetic body doing something like slicing with the blade or or have her standing on the bike like during kaos arc.

I find it odd that the EU publisher made a mars chronicle trailer but kodansha usa wouldn't want to do a manga trailer on their yt channel as if you search alita battle angel i'm sure if they put up a trailer for each series it'd sell higher numbers in stores. according to kodansha usa twitter it seems they moved up v4 of deluxe edition without updating randomhouse I think kodansha & randomhouse need better communication as it's still listed as june on randomhouse :/

well kodansha has it at 300 pages so maybe we're getting gaiden artbook split as at c2e2 last year kodansha said v5 would have unused illustration gallery/color pages but looks like that got moved to this.

kodansha's twitter juri did recap of c2e2 announcements with holy night & other stories for oct & the massive boxset this november I'm guessing the boxset will weigh close to akira boxset & have same issues of box falling apart during shipping.
