(Daisen == first or third of the The GENE project selections) has pretty much the same problem as ( Daisen == Vares ):
Spoiler:
  1. They happen after the Camlan tragedy and don't seem to have any real connection to Mars.
  2. They are supposed to be genius scientist types, contrary to that Daisen seems to be more of the puppeteer type, to put it simply consider it like Nova being Daisen, he would just find the whole thing to be too much of a headache and distraction from his research.
Rather on the opposite:
  1. Since The GENE project happens after the Camlan tragedy but before Mbadi/Triniad it would make some sense for it to be a result of Daisen's manipulation's.
    If (Daisen == MBV) and (Methuselyztion == Immortality potion) then combined with the Baladachin This would suggest that at the time around the Camlan tragedy Daisen/MBV have the most advanced nanotech around.
    Thus they engineer Vares and the nano-tech hazard for the specific purpose of creating the nano-tech taboo which would allow them to maintain their advantage.
    Also, Vares's "I must do evil to prove that I have free will" revelation has a somewhat similar feel to Muster's "I must do evil to atone for the misfortunes that befell me" revelation as well as to the whole Absurde thing if those revelations were actually instigated by Daisen.
  2. Between Caerula's remark as to how much Mbadi has changed, the fact that he couldn't integrate Nova and become Quadra and the fact that despite that he still chose to let Nova stay alive and do his research: It is not that clear that it was Vares and the other two GENE geniuses rather than Mbadi that got the short end of the stick in the Triniad deal.
    Mbadi wasn't a scientist, if Vares pointed at a random spot on the brain-chip and said "Yeah, you scratch that a bit with a needle and it will erase all of my evil mojo", there would be no way for Mbadi to know if he lied back on Pluto, and, with the whole "You are the great Mbadi" sales pitch Mbadi might not have overly bothered to double-check it afterwards.
    What I'm trying to say here is that for Vares and the other two GENE selections, they have already achieved their 'master plan' by making Mbadi into the flesh-bag chump who dealt with the boring headache of running ladder and cleaning up whatever mess they left behind while they could freely and safely continue doing their research undisturbed in the impregnable fortress that was his skull.
(Daisen == Emperor Triniad reborn)..
Spoiler:
Hmm.. Unlike what D3sty said in the previous post, the brain-chip's were removed by "Buddha" Tunpo so him missing a clone/teleportation duplicate seems unlikely.. than again, like the thoughts of a god, the thoughts of a Buddha are beyond human comprehension so it's possible that he decided that it was not his place to intervene with Triniad Daisen.

That aside.. I'm not that big of S.W. fanatic so maybe I understand things wrongly, but, in the original trilogy, despite technically being the ultimate villain, the emperor didn't really have a lot of screen time and presentation and mostly felt like he was there only because the protagonists were fighting "The Empire" and an empire needs to have an emperor, the villain that you actually "felt" was Darth Vader.
Consequentially the Emperor Reborn arc presented a story that was focused more on the Emperor himself.
Contrary to that Mbady/Triniad Already has plenty of presentation during BAA:LO as the main villain so.. if anything.. I think it would make more sense for him to reappear in a redemption/"real Mbady" sequence than to turn out to be Daisen.
(Daisen == Leviathan V)
Spoiler:
It feels a bit off but I can't really think of anything to contradict this.
Like Martin said they have the resources, the opportunity and the time.
And in addition to that, unlike Triniad and the GENE geniuses, they have the motive and the connection to Alita/Gruntal/Mars: Revenge, seeing themselves as the inheritors to the wrath of all those that died in the Camlan tragedy they might see it as their right and duty to carry out retribution against those responsible.
This would in particular chime with turning all of Gruntal into mind-enslaved zombies and being fixated on making Alita suffer.
(Daisen == Mui/Lymeira/Ninon)
Spoiler:
This is more or less also my opinion about which I wrote in length in the Recap and Speculation thread.
On the other hand I also can't refute Martin's complaint about "too much new stuff late in the game" with anything other than Daisen him/her/itself being fairly new and late in game.
With all that said, I doubt it really matters at this point, similar to what others have said here and in other threads, whatever cool idea Kishiro had way back when he wrote the "present" arc, by now he probably lost most of his interest in it.

Another Masque tumor is pretty good...buuut...her brain has no special abilities except impact solidification LO 1.

It would be cool if she has a locked away mind and the masque tumor was a clone of the original.

Very Desty Nova copy of self. Very Trinidad with multiple brains.

Leviathan v is just a good hiding spot for something.

I think the Priesterin are too lowball and "just" the early nanotech originators who are just the Mars atmosphere managers.

The planet scale structural engineering ...Earth, Venus, Mars and Jupiter all have one ... is mega and feel like singular Dramatic elements. Part of the material world beyond human characters and human drama. Elementals...lol.

I think Desty Nova confirms that the GENE project + Brain Bio chips are a product of the Camlam incident's effects on Melchizedek. That feels very derived from the origianl ending where she was raising space explorer stock, then went crazy caring about her children.

I am all in that Melchizedek is ultimately trying to guide mankind forward so creating the next evolution of human intellect, and then getting it into brain bio chip-into melchizedek's computational simulation capabilites, seems EXTREMELY flat and "realistic" computer science idea.

Breed DNA for smarts then by 19, identify the best and create the brain bio chip.

It goes without saying that brain biochips are computer chips and once on there, can be a la "the singualrity" manipulated like Ido wiped his memory.

The second Nova X appears, the other Nova's know and share the same fundemental rule...don't give yourself multiple brains.

Simulating 1 brain or 2 or N brains is basic computation theory.

Trinidad reborn is just a horrible idea as a sci-fi fan.

He had a great run and...backup copies or whatever of himself would be lame. I'd enjoy reading it but I don't like it here and now.

As long as we don't get aliens or time travel.

A future immortal Alita...say from after a million years after the last human dies a million years in the future, back in time is Dasein would be too too.

lol...its all a simulation...too too.

Martin, Hi, I've read your posts but being currently too stuck on my own ideas I couldn't come up with any constructive arguments, and so, for the time being I'm not going to post a direct reply but only new and revised speculations of my own, sincere apologies, I am not ignoring you and do not mean any insult or offense.

Also, at least for me, It's confusing to carry a single discussion across two different threads, so I'll try to post only on the other thread Recap and Speculation which is more inclusive.

Also also, if you find that I am an annoying troll that only spams these forum, please tell me so, these posts take me a lot of time that I should be spending on work and study so I'll be glad to have a stronger incentive to stop with them.
