Totally off topic: have you been reading yukitopia's engrish version? :D It's almost too cute to read (though trying to understand their own slang for DTP and image retouching requires an aspirin or two...), but it leaves me with a question: did he ask someone else to translate into engLish, like the cousin of the owner of the ramen establishment next to the offices of shueisha and got instead an engRish translation? I hope Kishiro isn't being ripped off... :)

Yukito doesn´t know any english at all.
But I think his brother/editor(think it was something like that) that made the english section.

Maybe our old translator bonedaddy knows the answer. He helped them with the forum section.

Well, there's a confus(ing/ed) list of translators or of acknowledgements at the bottom of yukitopia's engRish page, but none strikes a bell in my mind, tho' :)

If the translator(s) did it for free or for passion or just in his spare time, no problem with me. It is perfectly understandable :)

it is just that I get angry at people trying to rip off others by asking too much money then giving you a low/dubious quality job that forces you to work more to correct it.

I'm italian-english and my knowledge of japanese is abysmally low, but when I read the website's engrish version I just have to re-read it more than once, as if I were reading emails from deaf american friends trying to write me in broken italian.

But, what's worse.... is that it is contagious, that engrish :D
